Terri Bly, PsyD, LP

Therapist

Terri is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience. Terri encourages her client to pursue an intentional, values-driven life, while helping them discover the tools they need to overcome obstacles that arise along the way. Trained in EMDR, Terri takes a trauma-informed approach when working with clients who feel stuck in the past and want to stop getting triggered in the present. Terri also incorporates mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy into her practice, while maintaining a strengths-based perspective. Terri is a firm believer in the mind-body connection to health, helping clients implement lifestyle changes to feel and function better (translation: she is going to ask you about sleep, diet and exercise, probably more than once).

Terri works with adolescents (13+) and adults, and has experience with a wide range of issues, including trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, grief and loss, coping with physical health problems, parenting, marital/relationship difficulties, divorce and co-parenting.

Terri is also Content Director for Ellie Creative, where she helps realize Ellie’s vision of destigmatizing mental health. As part of this effort, she developed and now hosts the podcast, When Therapists Watch TV.
