Ellie Mental Health Recognized by Old Bridge Mayor’s Health and Wellness Council for Community Impact

By Miranda Barker

Miranda Barker, LICSW, LCSW

Ellie Mental Health of Old Bridge, New Jersey has been officially recognized by the Old Bridge Mayor’s Health and Wellness Council for its outstanding contributions to the mental health and well-being of the local community. The recognition highlights the clinic’s rapid and meaningful impact in providing accessible, compassionate care to residents since opening its doors less than a year ago.

In the formal statement shared below, the council praised Ellie for its commitment to reducing stigma around mental health, building strong community partnerships, and delivering high-quality therapeutic services. The acknowledgment also commended the organization’s proactive involvement with schools, outreach programs, and local support networks.

“Their presence in Old Bridge is a testament to the power of compassionate care and community-driven service,” the statement read. “We are grateful for their contributions and look forward to their continued success in supporting the mental health needs of our residents.”

Ellie Mental Health’s clinic owner, Mayukh Mukherjee, expressed pride in the recognition, emphasizing how deeply aligned it is with the organization’s core mission:

“It’s a proud moment, especially considering we’ve been open for less than a year,” Mayukh shared. “The letter speaks to the heart of what Ellie is about: accessible, compassionate care that’s deeply embedded in the local community.”

The clinic is preparing to expand its footprint with new locations opening next month in Piscataway and South Brunswick.

As mental health needs continue to grow nationwide, Ellie’s model of personalized, community-rooted care is proving to be both timely and vital. This recognition from the Old Bridge Mayor’s Council underscores the positive momentum behind the clinic’s efforts and signals an even greater impact on the horizon.
