Shelby is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, and a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist whose passion is to help children, adolescents, young adults, and adults improve their mental health by giving them the tools and skills to cope with difficult situations. Shelby looks to be creative in therapy, using evidence-based practices, dance, and art, striving to find what works best to help individuals cope with situations. Shelby has worked in inpatient facilities for young adults and adults, she has also interned at group homes for children and adolescents. Shelby finds it important to create a safe place for all, a warm and positive environment in which clients can be themselves freely.

Shelby has received her MA in clinical mental health counseling with a specialization in Dance/Movement Therapy from Lesley University. Shelby enjoys spending time with her dog, relaxing by the beaches, staying active, and spending time with family.
