Saima Sharif, MSW/LCSW-R

Therapist

I am a Resident in Clinical Social Work with a Master’s Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. My passion lies in helping individuals with emotional regulation, coping skills, and navigating life challenges. I utilize a range of interventions from different therapies tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. These may include Cognitive Behavioral, Person-Centered, Dialectical Behavioral, and Play therapies. I aim to offer a safe and nurturing space for my clients to express themselves openly and find the support they need as they journey through life’s ups and downs. I have gained valuable experience as a family advocate, a residential youth counselor, and a therapist providing individual and group therapy.

I am fluent in English and Urdu.

In my free time, I find joy in spending time with my cat, friends, and family, as well as indulging in activities such as watching TV, listening to music, and going to concerts.
