Clinical Supervisor

Dr. Rachel Kornacker is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist practicing in Illinois. She earned a BA in psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 2015. Dr. Kornacker then went on to complete her graduate education at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, earning an MA and a PsyD, both in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on children and adolescents.

Dr. Kornacker specializes in providing mental health services to individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges. As a therapist, she believes that each individual is unique and has their own story to tell. Dr. Kornacker also feels that therapy is a collaborative process; the client must feel empowered to lead their therapy journey while she can support and guide them to meet their goals. Dr. Kornacker approaches therapy through cognitive-behavioral and systemic approaches. Her therapeutic style is direct, warm, and humorous, creating a safe space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings without fear of being criticized. As Clinical Supervisor, Dr. Kornacker works with other therapists to ensure high-quality care. She has experience supervising graduate students and post-doctoral residents working toward obtaining their licensure.
