Naomi is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Alabama and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina with 12 years of experience. She holds a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Western Carolina University (2006). Her primary focus is helping adult clients manage stress and anxiety, depression, addictions, eating disorders, ADHD, trauma and abuse, and relationship and family of origin issues. She also has experience working in church counseling and can provide counseling incorporating a Christian worldview.

She believes you are the expert of your own story and will help tap into your strengths to overcome whatever you are facing, because we all face something at some point in our lives! Her approach is holistic, person-centered, gentle, and direct. She really enjoys teaching skills to help cope with your unique challenges. The therapies she draws from most are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy with a strong emphasis on self-compassion!
