Mary DeLorenzo, LPC, LMHC

Therapist

Mary DeLorenzo, I am a counselor with over ten years of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s many stages. I’ve had the privilege of working and volunteering in diverse settings with people of all ages, each experience deepening my appreciation for the unique journey each person takes.

One of the most meaningful experiences in my life has been serving as a foster and adoptive parent. This role has enriched my understanding of resilience, compassion, and the strength that can be found in every family—especially within our Military Families. These personal and professional experiences have shaped my belief that every challenge we face can hold value and serve as a catalyst for self-discovery and growth.

I believe life is a series of paths, each with its own set of joys and trials. My goal as a therapist is to walk alongside you, helping you navigate these paths with purpose and confidence. I practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with intentionality and direction, and I also incorporate Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Mindfulness techniques and reflective practices are often part of the work we do together, fostering greater awareness and peace.

Outside of my counseling practice, I am a passionate advocate for animals and volunteer as a foster with the Santa Rosa Animal Shelter. I also take great pride in sharing my heritage as an active member of Pensacola’s local Italian Heritage Club. At home, I find joy in caring for my family and pets, savoring a good cup of coffee, and spending quiet time along the serene shores of the Gulf Coast—my favorite place to reflect and recharge.
