Lamica (La-Mee-Sha) is passionate about learning clients’ stories, focusing on what happened to you and meeting you where you are to work through it. Lamica has extensive experience addressing social determinants of health, chronic illness, and trauma. She also has experience working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, adjustment disorder, grief, relationship issues, and more. Lamica earned her Bachelor’s Degree in communications from PennWest California, formerly known as California University of PA, and her Master’s Degree in social work with a focus on direct practice from Carlow University. Having lived in Pittsburgh for almost 10 years, Lamica is very knowledgeable about the area and the resources available. Lamica has extensive experience working with adults. Lamica enjoys utilizing motivational interviewing and a systems approach to meet clients’ goals when working through issues. Promoting inclusivity, advocacy, and trust are the cornerstones of expectations when meeting with Lamica.
