Kiesha Kamdar, Master of Social Work/LSW

Therapist

Life presents day-to-day challenges that mental health and well-being are intimately associated with. Recognizing that events are situational and transient, this can lead to enduring emotional responses, feelings, and overall outcomes. As someone who has personally navigated the healing process, I acknowledge that the work and words are often easier to articulate than to implement.

After five years of educating and working with children, youth, and their families, spanning diverse backgrounds, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of the impact of involvement with systematic agencies on individuals, particularly those affected by substance use, trauma, intimate partner violence, domestic violence, and other challenges.

Furthermore, I recognize that each individual’s journey is unique and requires personalized approaches. My objective is to provide strength-based, authentic, and empathetic tools, complemented by effective listening and communication skills. You possess the expertise of your own life, and you possess the authority to determine your future path during your healing journey.
