Katie Henkel, LMSW

Therapist

Katie (she/they) is a LMSW who received their Master of Social work from the University of Pennsylvania. She works with children, teens, young adults, couples, and families through a variety of life challenges – including, but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, family conflict, substance use, sexual trauma, infidelity, LGBTQIA+ identity exploration, and more.

Katie draws from psychodynamic, mindfulness, trauma informed, and CBT therapies in her work, and advocates for clients and people from marginalized backgrounds both within and outside of session. Katie believes in co-creating a person-centered, safe, and transformative space in session for clients to learn deeply about and advocate for themselves.

To come to therapy is to wish for change in yourself or in your life. To be willing to make that change is to be brave!
