Isabelle is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over ten years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. She received her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in child and adolescent mental health from Northeastern University. She has worked with a diverse range of individuals from a variety of settings including outpatient, in home, shelters, hospitals, residential, and school based settings.
She addresses a wide variety of issues including trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, mood disorders, and family issues. She draws from several evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, solution-focused techniques, motivational interviewing, and strength-based practices. In addition, she offers faith based counseling to those who request it.
As a first generation Haitian American, Isabelle prides herself on being culturally competent while approaching therapy through a social justice lens. She creates an easy going environment where clients feel motivated to learn, heal, and grow.
