Hannah MacDonald, BS

Therapist Intern

Hello, I’m Hannah, a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student, completing my practicum at Ellie Mental Health under the supervision of Amanda Evens. Whether you are looking to explore your identity/relationships, increase your confidence, navigate life transitions and stressors, or improve your overall mental health, I will walk alongside you every step of the way. I work with adolescents and adults of all ages.

I am warm and authentic in my approach and often incorporate creativity into counseling. I believe counseling is a space for deep and meaningful self-reflection, and that it can also be fun! I offer an integrative, trauma-informed approach to counseling drawing from evidenced-based practices including; client-centered, strengths-based, solutions-focused brief therapy (SFBT) , narrative therapy, Adlerian and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

In my free time I enjoy a variety of activities from dance, archery, skiing, and hiking. My idea of a perfect evening is reading a good book on the couch with my dog, Cappie.
