Emily Vasseur, LCPC

Clinic Director

Emily’s goal is to help people gain insight so that they can identify, utilize, and build upon the internal resources that they already have in order to help them cope with difficult life events or transitions. She believes that each person is unique and enjoys working with clients in a way that promotes overall wellness. Emily believes building rapport is the most important thing when it comes to therapy, as the therapeutic relationship is an essential bond between a client and a therapist. To help personalize treatment for each client’s needs, Emily utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. Her specializations include cases with high trauma-needs, major life transitions, anxiety, depression, and have in the past also worked with unaccompanied minors.
