Emily Daly, RICSW

Therapist

Emily is a licensed independent clinical social worker (RCSWI) with a master’s in clinical social work from Simmons University and extensive experience in a psychiatric hospital setting. She works with adults navigating grief, depression, anxiety, and the many hard and messy moments that life throws your way.

She blends cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic principles, and strengths-based techniques with something just as important: genuine human connection. Emily believes therapy works best when you feel safe and seen — not analyzed like a case file.

In sessions, she balances structure with warmth. She’ll listen closely, ask the hard questions, and yes — she might make you laugh when you least expect it. Because sometimes that’s exactly what helps you open up. Treatment goals are always driven by you, measured together, and adjusted as you grow.

Emily has a special interest in helping people who feel stuck — whether from grief that won’t loosen its grip, anxiety that never shuts off, depression that makes everything heavy, or a life change that turned everything upside down. She’s also great with people who are nervous about therapy or have tried it before and didn’t love it.

A little about her: When she’s not in session, Emily is likely yelling at the TV for the Green Bay Packers, chasing a soccer ball, or spending time with her family, her dog, and her kickball and volleyball teammates.

She wants you to know: You don’t need to be at rock bottom to reach out. Just being tired of feeling stuck is enough.
