As a bilingual therapist, I understand how important it is to feel safe, understood, and valued when seeking support. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) Jane Addams College of Social Work, with a focus on mental health, and I provide compassionate, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed therapy in both English and Spanish.
I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, emotional regulation challenges, life transitions, parenting concerns, family conflict, and the unique challenges faced by first-generation and immigrant communities. With a background in early childhood mental health, I also help children and families navigate developmental, behavioral, and emotional concerns while strengthening connection and communication.
My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s individual needs. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness-based practices, and play-based interventions, to help clients develop coping skills, improve relationships, build resilience, and create lasting change.
I strive to create a welcoming space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their healing journey. Together, we can work toward understanding your experiences, building on your strengths, and creating meaningful steps toward growth and well-being.
