Steven “Steve” Wasilczuk, LPC

Therapist

Life can hold both joy and pressure… and when things start to feel heavy, you don’t have to sort through it alone. Steve offers a steady, empathic space for clients to feel understood, build insight, and move toward lasting change. He believes therapy works best through an authentic relationship grounded in respect, honesty, and collaboration. With a strengths-based, anti-racist, and identity-affirming approach, Steve helps clients feel seen and supported exactly as they are.

His clinical style integrates humanistic care with psychodynamic and narrative perspectives, alongside evidence-based tools from ACT, CBT, and DBT. Steve works with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, identity development, relationship challenges, family dynamics, and career stress or burnout. He approaches therapy as a place to reconnect with your values, understand your story more deeply, and create new ways of coping and thriving.

Steve also has a special passion for supporting creative individuals and families who live close to the arts. Whether you’re a performer, musician, writer, dancer, comedian, student breaking into creative work, or a parent supporting a creative child, he understands the emotional complexities that can come with a creative life. Steve offers a space to process the pressure, regain balance, and strengthen your relationship with yourself: Onstage and off.

Outside the therapy room, Steve enjoys time with his partner and two cats, biking, canoeing, reading, singing, and playing saxophone.
