Sharvae is a Resident in Counseling with experience working with individuals and military families in Virginia. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Sociology from Randolph-Macon College and a master’s degree in Marriage, Couple and Family Counseling from Walden University. She has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families in the military and in community settings. She specializes in helping adults and adolescents work through anxiety and life transitions and changes.

She is passionate about assisting clients with finding ways to work through obstacles and building a better life, therefore her approach to therapy is individualized, holistic, culturally informed and client centered. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.

Sharvae enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
