Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Anderson University and Master of Clinical Mental
Health Counseling degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Guided by the philosophy “Be who you
needed when you were younger,” Sam creates a therapeutic space where clients feel safe to bring their
whole selves—whether at their best, their worst, or anywhere in between.
With a background as a touring musician, Sam brings creativity and connection into therapy, often
using music as a bridge for healing and self-expression. Clients and families appreciate his warmth,
humor, and ability to meet them where they are while providing research-based, practical tools for
growth. Inspired by the legacy of his grandfather, an educator and advocate, Sam carries forward a
deep commitment to kindness, advocacy, and empowerment.
His goal is not only to help clients thrive but also to contribute to the broader field of mental health
through clinical mastery, community involvement, and mentorship. Sam aspires to influence positive
change in the world by fostering empathy, strengthening families, and guiding the next generation toward healthier, more connected lives.
