Paul is a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served in Southwest Asia and Somalia in 1993. It is from this experience that he is drawn to a career of helping others. He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in mental health counseling both from Cambridge College in Massachusetts. He began his career at Mclean Hospital, a Harvard Medical School Affiliate in Belmont, Massachusetts, where he also served as a member of the hospital’s Patient Family Advisory Council. Paul uses a person centered approach along with cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, experiential therapy and EMDR depending on the client’s particular needs.
