Makaela believes in the power of holding space for you while walking alongside you in your healing journey. Each individual has the ability to take power in their story and write their own chapters. At the foundation of this work, she makes it a priority to work through the lens of equity and social justice. Who you are, the stories you carry, and the context of where you come from are important to her. Makaela want this space to be a place where you feel empowered, gain insight, and learn skills to achieve the goals you have set for yourself in therapy.
Her primary modalities are DBT, Emotion Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. You are more than your trauma; you are more than your symptoms. Makaela will work with you to create impactful, lasting change.
