Kara Harte received her master of Marriage and Family Therapy at Central Connecticut State University in 2020. Kara has been within the mental health field since 2016 and has a history of working with children and youth in foster care, and biological families. Kara works primarily with adolcenset (12-18) individually and with their families and has experience working with trauma disorders, anxiety, depression, self injurious behaviors, self esteem issues, family conflict, and the LGBTQ+ community. In her work, she feels driven to be authentic, intentional and supportive. Some modalities Kara utilize include are Systemic modalities of relational therapy, mindfulness, motivation interviewing and evidenced based models.
