She has worked with patients in outpatient and residential settings, including family reunification and supporting the stresses of family caregiving.
Cindy appreciates the opportunity to support patients in identifying opportunities for personal growth, behavior change, and improving personal relationships by exploring approaches for reframing thoughts and understanding how thoughts and beliefs affect choices. She understands that everyone has unique personal experiences that inform their understanding of the world and influence the needed therapeutic approach.
She is originally from Oklahoma and moved to Minnesota with her spouse and children twenty years ago, embracing all the Northland offers. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dogs. She enjoys sewing, baking, and spending time outdoors. Cindy is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Behavioral Health.
