Bianca (she/her) is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who completed her graduate degree locally at Florida Gulf Coast University. She has experience in the mental health field including serving those with concerns related to multicultural and intersectional identities, substance abuse, suicidality, self-harm, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life-stage transitions, self-esteem, gender and sexual identities, and relationship concerns. Bianca has vast experiences working with the LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and college communities. She practices an integrative approach to therapy using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Processing Therapy (IPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Existential Therapy. Bianca strives to exert a warm, caring, and prosperous atmosphere in her therapy sessions to guide her clients through their life journeys.
In her personal life, Bianca loves spending time with her partner and two dogs whether that means traveling to new places, exploring new food, outdoor activities, and/or watching a good movie at home. Bianca values outdoor activities such as hiking, paddle boarding, biking, rollerblading, and sporting events. She is also a music lover who finds comfort and rejuvenation in a diverse range of genres. Bianca is always planning her next vacation and is open to new destination recommendations!
