Therapist

Ben is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist. He received his Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and has been a certified alcohol/drug counselor for the past 12 years.

Ben likes to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help people accurately perceive life situations and improve their self-perception. These are the building blocks that lead to quality relational fulfillment, emotional health and stability. Improved perceptions can lead to transformed individuals. Ben loves to work closely with clients to help them cast a vision for a purposed, fulfilled and contented self. Depression, Anxiety, Shame, Substance Usage, Couples/Marriage and lack of purpose are areas of experience.

Ben was able to purchase his old elementary school where he and his wife Christina live, pastor Alive Church, house the town food pantry and where she is busy at her salon/spa. They both believe that life can be an exciting adventure with enriched relationships. While not in their offices they can be found reading, working on home projects, traveling and hiking to water falls.
