Managing Freshmen Year Group
Ages 17-22, Anyone in need of emotional support transitioning to college
Your freshman year of college is a big deal! Greater independence, time away from home, making new friends, and navigating your time can be both exciting and challenging. This group can help you connect with other freshmen and help you organize your goals while processing feelings.
Mothers who are adjusting after giving birth : Ages 18+
Motherhood is a beautiful season of life but sometimes our emotions do not catch up to enjoy the moments with our new baby or children. Do you feel anxious, depressed and alone in after giving birth? Are you grieving who you were before the transition into motherhood? Is there a question of how do I adjust to the changes in my body as well as to the transition of being a mother. This group will help to navigate through the postpartum symptoms as well as find enjoyment in this new transition of your life. | Group will meet once every other Thursday from 12pm-1pm. We will discuss normalize the emotions and thoughts after giving birth, provide education on hormones as well as coping strategies, discuss the grief of transitioning from single to being a mother and feeling like you lost yourself as well as how to adjust to this stage of life.
