This group is meant to provide stress management practices and tools to process traumas of BIPOC by increasing awareness of epigenetics and speaking to the systemic harm, generational trauma, racism, oppression, and micro-aggressions related to marginalized communities of color. This 5-week group will be on Wednesday nights beginning mid-February and will be $40 per session.
Learn to Love Yourself
Female Middle School Students, Teen (13+)
A support group for Middle School Teens identifying as female with potential body issues such as restrictive eating, unhealthy exercise habits, and/or eating issues. Group emphasis on self-esteem, confidence, empowerment, and love. This 6-session biweekly group will be on Tuesday nights beginning mid-February and will be $40 per session.
LGBTQ+ Teen Group
High School Students, Identify as LGBTQ+
This group aspires to empower LGBTQ+ Youth by creating a safe and encouraging space for High School students to explore and process topics around sexual identity and gender identity with liked minded peers, and to learn therapeutic ways to manage stress, depression, and issues with self-worth that may be co-occurring. This 6-week group will be on Thursday nights beginning late-February and will be $40 per session.
Parent Education Group
Parents of Children, Ages 5-10
Emotional regulation issues in children often has a large impact on the family dynamic structure. This group is designed to help support parents and guardians in these families by educating them on meaningful and effective ways to interact with younger children (ages 5-10) who have a history of behavioral outbursts or increasing mood dysregulation. This 8-week group will be on Monday nights beginning mid-February and will be $40 per session.
Veterans Support Group
Veterans, Separated from military within the last 5 years
A peer support group to assist veterans with making the successful transition to civilian life. Redeployment issues such as relationships, work, navigating civilian life, identity issues, will be explored. This 8-week group will be on Thursday nights beginning mid-February and will be $40 per session.
