Marissa Castillo is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, under the supervision of Dana Roberts, LPC-S. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Social Work from Angelo State University, and went on to complete her Master of Science in Counseling at Texas A&M University–Commerce.
Marissa has experience working with children through adults and she strives to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can feel heard and understood. Her areas of interest include working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress related issues, self-esteem, teen issues, and grief. She often integrates evidence-based methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered, and play therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of each client.
Her goal is to walk alongside clients in their journey toward healing, growth, and resilience, providing both compassion and practical tools to support lasting change. Marissa enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, watching movies, and traveling.
