Xoel Gonzalez, MA, LPCC

Therapist

Xoel’s main approach to therapy is to focus on the development of basic human connection and sharing the human experience. Xoel believes that the therapeutic relationship is unique and special because it taps into the essence of each person while creating an opportunity for self growth (as long as the relationship is authentic).
Xoel spent twenty years tattooing professionally prior to becoming a therapist, and as a result Xoel has gained a better understanding of what constitutes connection with others in a creative way based on who each person is. Professionally speaking, Xoel is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with a wide variety of therapeutic approaches and modalities. Xoel is well seasoned in working with individuals, couples and families from the ages 10 to the elderly.

Xoel has also a vast experience working with people with severe mental illness, Bipolar Disorder, Autism, OCD, personality disorders, anxiety, depression, ADHD, cultural issues, life challenges, trauma, grief and loss, addiction and virtual dependency. Personally speaking, Xoel simply cares about people and their overall wellbeing.

Outside of work Xoel is no different however he enjoys spending time with loved ones, learning, reading, gardening, sports, and lots of art and humor.
