Patrick received his Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Arizona State University, and he is currently a Doctoral candidate at Walden University.
As a counselor, he is passionate about creating a judgement free space where people feel safe and comfortable. He has experience working with children ages 5 and up, adolescents, and adults. He has experience working with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma, as well as delusional and psychotic disorders. Patrick is resolute in his work with the LGBTQIA+ community providing queer affirming and gender affirming therapy.
He uses evidence-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Mindfulness. Patrick believes that therapy is a different experience for each person, which leads to different approaches being utilized depending on the individual.
