Thomas Stearns, LCSW

Tom Stearns, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with a Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington. Tom has extensive experience working with diverse populations providing emotional support and counseling in a variety of settings over the course of 30 years. He has worked in elementary schools, adolescent day hospitals, adult inpatient psychiatric centers, along with general medical and specialty hospitals. Tom utilizes brief strategic therapy and psycho-education to facilitate client problem solving and improving coping skills. Tom is a caring, compassionate professional who enjoys both clinical and academic aspects of helping adolescents and adults, families and couples. Born and raised in Houston, Tom has been married for 31 years and has 3 children.
