Clinic Director

Our Clinic Director, Telawna, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and board approved Supervisor who is passionate about helping others. She strives to provide access to quality care that is inclusive, equitable and accessible. Her career has been primarily in community mental health and has included case management, individual, group and family therapy, crisis intervention, assessment, and diagnosis. Telawna is an adjunct professor at Baylor University and a leader in the community who enjoys teaching, leading, and sharing her experience with others always with an emphasis on trauma informed care, cultural sensitivity, and inclusion. It is her firm belief that humans are designed to live in relationships with others. It is through safe and trusting relationships that healing and growth are achievable.  Though she has many tools in her toolbox, she relies on a person-centered approach and believes it is her duty to work with people to design treatment that is individual to their needs.
