Tara is a compassionate clinician who enjoys helping others reach their full potential. Creating a calm and safe environment, and meeting individuals where they are, enables Tara to build a trusting/therapeutic relationship with her clients. Tara places great emphasis on being empathetic to each client’s feelings and beliefs. She is mindful in her interactions with others and takes pride in her ability to make others feel at ease when in her presence. Tara takes a person-centered approach and places importance on strength-based and solution-focused outcomes. She also utilizes a trauma-informed approach as it is important to understand past trauma and its possible long-term effects. Tara is passionate about her work with dementia and educating family members and caregivers about the disease. Over the past 12 years, Tara has experience working with a wide range of ages; primarily adolescents through adulthood with varying diagnoses. Outside of work Tara enjoys spending quality time with her family. Skiing, taking in nature, spending time on the water, and traveling.
