Summer Davis, Master of Education in Counseling and Development-Marriage, LPC Associate

Therapist

Summer Davis is an LPC Associate supervised by Andrea Johnson LPC-S. Summer has over a year of experience counseling teens and adolescents in groups, individually, and in family sessions. She is passionate about working with adolescents (14+) and adults ready to be empowered and make positive life changes. Summer aims to help people identify and achieve their personal goals by coping with the issues causing them distress, anxiety, and depression. When working with clients, Summer works with her clients to find solutions to their problems, concentrate on their strengths, and help them identify and use their internal resources. Whether the mental health struggles are anxiety, depression, school bullying, self-esteem, relationship conflicts, coping skills, or trauma, she can reach your goals together. The approaches Summer uses with her clients are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to combat negative thoughts and behaviors, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to find solutions to problems, Mindfulness to learn to be present in the here and now, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help with self-management through change and acceptance.
