Stephanie is a National Board-Certified Counselor (NCC) and Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate, (LPC-Associate) supervised by Jennifer Alamia, LPC-S, CCTP. She holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Counseling from Our Lady of the Lake University, San Antonio. She is experienced in working with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and domestic abuse/trauma survivors treating stress, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, self-harm/suicidal ideation, childhood trauma, PTSD, adjustment/conduct disorder, self-esteem, intimacy, career guidance, relationship issues, ADHD, grief, and LGBTQ related challenges.

Stephanie provides a person-centered approach, supporting clients through a judgment-free zone to establish a safe space to help the client find trust in the therapeutic alliance to accomplish their counseling goals. To further encourage client growth, she works from a Humanistic belief that the client is the expert in their life– and will work collaboratively with the client to establish a therapeutic plan that meets their unique and specific needs.
