Stephanie Kenton, LMHC

Therapist

Stephanie has known since freshman year of high school that she wanted to be a therapist. She started pursuing that dream by leaving her small hometown in Florida and attending Flagler College in 2009. In May 2012 Stephanie graduated with her bachelors degree in psychology and quickly entered graduate school in August 2012 to purse her masters degree in clinical mental health counseling. While at Stetson, Stephanie became a certified play therapist and graduated in December 2015. Stephanie has worked extensively with children and adults that have survived the unthinkable, helping them to rewrite their story and take back their lives. Play therapy has offered Stephanie a unique way of engaging with children, literally getting down on the floor and meeting them where they are at. Stephanie strives to give each client unconditional support, acknowledging that while she may be an “expert” in the therapy part of things, each client is an expert on themselves.
