Stacey Henline, PhD. LPC

Therapist

Hi,

I am Dr. Stacey Henline, PhD, LPC. I have been in the therapy field for 11 years and counting! I have spent a lot of time working on education and specialties to extend my abilities to be a well-rounded and eclectic therapist to help anyone and everyone I can. I am a Fairmont State University Alumni with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelors of Art in Theater specializing in stage management and makeup design. I moved to Huntington Beach, California following my graduation and lived there for 5+ years where I then attended Argosy University and completed my Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology specializing in Trauma and graduated in 2014. At the university I was introduced to a trauma therapy technique called Emotional Transitional Therapy (ETT) where I was able to learn this technique that uses color and light to treat multiple diagnoses, specifically trauma, substance use, depression etc. I Moved back to WV in 2015 and obtained my independent LPC in 2019 while working in a few different environments in which I gained experience with many different populations. I have continued in my journey and extensive training with ETT and am very passionate about utilizing this technique with my clients to help advance healing and finding peace within their therapy journey. ETT led to my next mission in life of moving forward with becoming a PhD in Human Development from Fielding Graduate University. I graduated in August 2023 and have recently had my dissertation published through PubMed! My therapeutic style is REBT, Solution Focused, DBT, TF-CBT, ACT along with other methods that work best for you.

I was born and raised in WV but loved my time as a transplant in Huntington Beach. I have an extremely goofy and loveable pittie mix named Nyx who is 3 years old who loves to go for walks/runs and play frisbee. She is named after the goddess of night and protector of women which is the name of the Krewe of Nyx. I was a float rider with this Krewe in New Orleans for 7 years during the Mardi Gras season. The Krewe’s signature throw were purses that I had to glitter, and hand decorate every year. I enjoy traveling, Mardi Gras/ New Orleans, yoga, aerial arts, training for HIT competition Spartan races, and as an Italian woman, I love to cook, spend time with family and of course spaghetti dinners on Sundays!

I look forward to working with you through your journey to peace and healing. Therapy is not easy, and I commend you on your decision to take the steps towards self-care, and self-love.

We all have a story to tell, and I am here to work with you as you begin the new chapter of yours.
