Sofia is a Client Access Specialist who is passionate about eliminating barriers to mental health care and matching clients with the best clinicians to support them. She understands that searching for a therapist can be an overwhelming process. Finding a clinician who is a good fit is extremely important, especially for those of us who have experienced the world differently due to our gender, race, sexuality, class, or disabilities. Sofia hopes that every client who interacts with her will feel heard and respected.
Sofia’s previous experience includes youth development with middle school and high school girls, crisis response and advocacy with survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, managing referrals for a medically tailored meal program, and performing/teaching music. When not working, Sofia enjoys learning, baking, and exploring Minneapolis by bike or public transit.
