Shana is a licensed professional counselor who understands the importance of meeting you where you are and is eager to assist you in navigating this stage of your journey. While experienced in treating a variety of populations, Shana is passionate about providing perinatal mental health care to individuals in every stage of their pregnancy and postpartum journey. As a single mother of toddler twins born during the pandemic, Shana has a unique, compassionate perspective on the struggles of early parenthood.

As a queer-identifying therapist, Shana holds a strong dedication to assisting clients in need of a secure environment to delve into new aspects of identity, including sexuality, gender, religious deconstruction/reconstruction, spirituality, and self-esteem. She believes in tailoring therapy to meet each individual’s unique needs, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing. She enjoys taking a collaborative, person-centered approach to therapy and clients can expect a compassionate, laid-back, non-directive approach in a session with her.
