Samantha is a licensed clinical therapist with over 12 years of social work experience. She holds a Master of Social Work degree from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Saginaw Valley State University. She has worked in Community Mental Health, healthcare agencies, and inpatient setting with adults, adolescents, and children. Her approach in working with clients is person-centered and solution-focused while also making therapy an enjoyable and productive experience. She specializes in child and adolescent difficulties like anxiety, depression, and peer relationships, as well as more intensive needs like family relationships, adoption/foster care, and trauma, amongst other daily needs and challenges. Samantha utilizes CBT and trauma focused therapy along with being DBT informed to assist clients with meeting their goals and succeeding in overcoming anything that comes their way. She feels it is crucial to be open-minded, unbiased, and supportive with all of her clients and whatever comes their way.
