Rachael is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified School Counselor. She earned her Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling from Texas State University. She graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and an Early Childhood Endorsement.
Rachael has 29 years of experience working with young children ages 3-5, elementary aged children and adolescents. She also enjoys working with families and individuals, young adults, and adults. She has experience working with relationship and peer issues, school related issues, stress, mood disorders, self-esteem, ADD/ADHD, and anxiety.
Rachael believes in building a calm, trusting, therapeutic rapport where clients feel safe and respected. It is through a person centered approach as well as Cognitive Behavior Therapy that Rachael and her clients work together to identify what the conflicts are, what goals they want to set, and how to reach goals and get back on their journey to a new path.
