Penny believes that the best and most effective therapy happens collaboratively. Her philosophy is that people are the true experts in how their brains work, and she values working with her clients to create a safe and empowering space where they feel heard and understood.
Penny has a Bachelors Degree in Child and Family Studies from Weber State University and a Masters Degree in Social Work from Boise State. She has worked extensively with substance use disorders and PTSD, but her real passion lies in treating OCD and Anxiety disorders. As a parent of children with OCD and anxiety, she knows how lonely and powerless it can feel which is why she has dedicated her life to helping individuals and families feel seen in a world that often misunderstands and invalidates them. In her free time, Penny tries to convince her husband and 3 kids to go hiking. She loves jumping into icy cold rivers, listening to podcasts, and laughing at her own jokes.
