“Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.” –Maya Angelou. I believe change begins when we take the steps to know our version of “better”. Each of us is unique and have different experiences that impact what we know. My approach to counseling is holistic, compassionate and caring. I have experience working with trauma and complex trauma using Trust Based Relational Intervention, Brainspotting, and Internal Family Systems. I enjoy working with young adults. I also enjoy assisting parents of neuro-diverse and other special needs children.

My focus also includes working with couples and individuals recovering from toxic patterns of narcissistic abuse, and individuals and couples seeking relationship counseling. Additionally, I have a passion for working with young adults with attentional deficits that are struggling with school and work performance.

I believe in the importance of identifying strengths and using those strengths to encourage individuals in making positive changes. I view working with clients as walking along a path together.
