Nora is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker committed to joining with those who need someone to talk with, are struggling with distressing thoughts and feelings or want to change something about their life by building a trusting and collaborative therapeutic alliance providing the experience of feeling heard, understood and supported. Nora loves utilizing mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. Nora is curious, open hearted, and honest and utilizes a client centered approach to understand the hopes and concerns of individuals. Nora believes that when we understand ourselves is empowers us to change our lives. Nora is passionate about the importance of human relationships, self care and a holistic health approach to all aspects of wellness. Nora has a history of working with domestic violence as a volunteer, legal advocate and board member and working in intensive multisystemic family therapy. Nora currently works in a school based program providing therapy services focused on depression, anxiety, trauma, and parent support. When Nora is not working she dreams of travel plans and spends her time with her family including her cats, learning to cook new things, being in nature, watching a variety of movies and enjoys comedy clubs!
