Nikki is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at Idaho State University. She will graduate from her program in the summer of 2023. As a counselor, she operates from a humanistic perspective. What this means is that she truly values your personal experience and perspective. You are the expert on your own experience! She believes that the best therapeutic outcomes come from a collaborative and warm space. She is not afraid to talk about topics that may be considered taboo or difficult, such as trauma, marginalization, LGBTQIA+, culture, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and many other topics and identities. Nikki specializes in working with children, adolescents, neurodivergent individuals, anxiety, self-esteem, and grief. Her core values as a counselor are curiosity, warmth, and authenticity. When she not counseling, in school, or studying, she enjoy thrift shopping, exploring nature, going to concerts, and playing with her pets.
