Mikah is a clinical social worker who takes an energetic and authentic approach to working with children and their grown-ups. She often integrates movement and play into the therapeutic work, creating safe spaces to feel all the big feelings and practice regulation skills. Mikah works with preschool and elementary-aged children and their families, and suppports them through trauma, anxiety, and neurodivergence. Prior to working at Ellie, Mikah worked as a school-based therapist, meeting students’ needs for mental health support through collaboration with teachers, school staff, and caregivers.
Outside of work, Mikah enjoys finding ways to integrate play into her own life, including spending time with her husband and cat, reading mystery novels, and being Auntie Mikah to her niblings.
