Michelle Urquhart is an LPC Associate supervised by Shannon Deitch, M.S., LPC-S, RPT-S. Michelle specializes in working with children and adolescents, using child-centered play therapy and talk therapy to treat a variety of mental health concerns. Additionally, she highly values caregivers’ roles in the therapeutic process and provides individualized feedback to extend intervention beyond the office. Michelle honors the individuality of each child and family dynamic by tailoring her approach to meet her clients’ unique needs. Underlying each approach, she maintains unconditional acceptance, warmth, and trust in her client’s ability to progress.
