Michaelle D. Pierre is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) practicing in the state of Florida. She obtained a Ph.D. in Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. She is an Approved AAMFT Supervisor and Qualified Florida Supervisor.
She specializes and trained in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) (or domestic violence—DV), Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Trauma-Informed Care, EMDR, and DBT. Prior to joining Ellie, Michaelle served as a seasoned clinician and healthcare administrator for 14 years. She has worked in various contexts with diverse populations: including, children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families from all walks of life in the foster and adoptive care system; youth residential programs; residential level II programs for severe mental illness; community mental health; substance use; and in-home behavioral services.
Michaelle enjoys travelling to different countries with her husband, spending time with her family and friends, educating her community on all things mental health. Michaelle is a compassionate team leader and a genuine collaborator.
