Michael is an empathetic therapist who is committed to being present and curious with clients. Michael has experience working with complex cases involving trauma, suicidal ideation, and self-harm. Michael uses a psychodynamic approach along with CBT and DBT interventions. Michael has spent most of his career working with adolescents and families but has experience working with adults as well.
In his personal time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, serving at their church, and trying new restaurants in the twin cities. On vacations, Michael and his wife enjoy exploring National Parks and State Parks. They have a life goal to visit all 63 National Parks in the United States.
