Mariella “Mars” De Dios is a Licensed Master’s Social Worker supervised by Tracy Teimourian, LCSW-S. She is a strong advocate of individualized, holistic care–not just treating symptoms. Her approach to therapy is trauma-informed, client-centered, and intersectional.
Mariella has experience working with clients of all ages (children aged 5-11, adolescents, adults aged 19-75). Mariella has also worked extensively across numerous demographics, including: immigrants, refugees/asylees, veterans, BIPOC, and the LGBT+ community. She employs psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the Transtheoretical Model (TTM; Stages of Change), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy in her sessions. Her areas of specialty are anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD/CPTSD, bereavement, suicide ideation, stress management, intergenerational trauma, and decolonization psychology.
