Mariah is a spunky millennial who practices using client-focused and holistic approaches. To do this, Mariah develops an empathetic and open space as she strives for client’s to be their full authentic self. Though Mariah’s therapeutic approach will vary depending on the individual’s needs she is founded in the exploration of our connection and attachments to others and how this affects the way that we understand ourselves. Mariah utilizes a neurodiversity affirmative lens while advocating and offering psychoeducation as a means of not only strengthening the client’s internal support but also that of the various systems surrounding the client such as their family. Mariah feels very strongly about the effectiveness of developing an honest and individualized therapeutic relationship as the key to working through whatever challenges the client may be facing. Mariah has found herself feeling very passionate about working with children, adolescents, and families with concerns related to anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, Autism, life changes, and family dynamics.
When Mariah isn’t at work she is often found either in nature or attempting some DIY project she found on Pinterest. Mariah is usually vibing to either some music or a podcast (often true crime or audio theater related).
